Thank you for considering Harlington for your child’s education.

From 2023 Harlington School has a published admission number (PAN) of 240 students for each year group of entry (Year 7 entry from September 2023). Students with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who join our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for physical and sensory disability are admitted over and above our published admissions number.  Admissions to the Designated Unit for Autism are separate and are not included within this PAN number.

Students are admitted in line with the admissions criteria contained in our Admissions Policy which can be found on our Policies page.

Year 7 Entry

We invite all prospective students and their families to join us at our annual Open Evening in September, where you can meet the staff, many of our students and tour our facilities. Families are also welcome to visit the school on one of our Open Morning visits to view Harlington on a normal school day.

Applications are made through London Borough of Hillingdon and all information on how to apply can be found using the link below.

Waiting Lists

We operate a waiting list for all Year Groups. If we are unable to make an immediate offer of a place to your child, you may ask for your child to be added to our waiting list. Places on the waiting list are allocated strictly in line with the admissions criteria in our admissions policy, not by the date of application for a place. This means that a child’s place on the waiting list can go down, as well as up.

Due to data protection regulations, we are not permitted to disclose any waiting list information over the telephone.

If you have any questions regarding admissions or enquiries about waiting list position, please email the Admissions Officer, Mrs Channing on
