ABOUT:

SEND at Harlington requires next stage thinking and planning and is a major priority for the School.  For this reason this new post, Assistant Headteacher Inclusion, is an amalgamation of responsibilities that enables the right candidate to flourish in their SEN capacity whilst also overseeing key Inclusion areas around the school.

The successful candidate will play a vital role as part of the Senior Leadership Team and their vision, knowledge and skills will be essential to enable us to move forward.  They must have a passion for quality first teaching and a high level of SEN experience, bearing in mind we have a Designated Unit for Autism and a Special Resource Provision for Physical Disabilities.

The ideal candidate will;

  • Hold the SENDCO qualification
  • Have extensive experience of SEN practice and working with students
  • Have experience of being able to run a team and talent manage individuals to the best capacity
  • Be able to showcase how their current and previous work enabled students to reach their full potential
